Vote to Feed Hungry Children!

As you may know, Blue Water Party Rentals’ owner Karen Gitter is a proud supporter and volunteer for the Second Harvest Food Bank. For the month of April, the organization is working to earn a $45,000 grant from Walmart to put towards feeding hungry children in our community, but they need your votes. San Francisco AIDS Walk 2012

Blue Water Party Rentals has been a proud supporter of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation for several years now, and we are excited to continue our sponsorship this year by supporting the organization’s AIDS Walk, taking place this Sunday, July 15th.
The walk was first created in 1987, and the funds raised allow organizations throughout the Bay Area to offer prevention, advocacy programs, and care for those living with HIV/AIDS.

We are so proud to have Veteran employees who are a part of the Department of Veteran’s Affairs’ Compensated Work Therapy Vocational Rehabilitation program, and this week our very own Karen Gitter was awarded by the Department of Veteran’s Affairs with a Certificate of Excellence for her exemplary service and support. Meet Our Veterans

We would like to introduce our Veteran employees, who are participants of the Veteran’s Affairs Compensated Work Therapy Program. These four gentleman are a very important part of the inner workings of Blue Water, and are responsible for the quality control of our product.

Especially with Thanksgiving coming up this week, we would like to give thanks to our Veterans for their dedication and sacrifices made on behalf of our country, and are thankful we have the opportunity to assist and support a few from our very own community. We are so excited to be welcoming three more Veterans into the Blue Water family this week! Our new employees, Aaron, William, and Ken, are participants of the Palo Alto Department of Veterans Affairs and their Compensated Work Therapy Vocational Rehabilitation program, and we couldn’t be happier to have them.
This outstanding program works to “match and support work ready veterans in competitive jobs, and…consult with business and industry regarding their specific employment needs.”
